Asian stocks kept swinging between gains and losses on Tuesday as weak Chinese data offset optimism from rebounding manufacturing activity in the western part of the world.
While stock exchange in Seoul was flat with a slight fall of 0.71 points at 1,855.02; Tokyo reported an impressive jump of 246.24 points to 14,098.74.
